Aeration & Overseeding

Aeration & Overseeding Services

Thicker, healthier lawns start here.

The basics

What core aeration and overseeding actually do

Core aeration pulls small plugs of soil out of your lawn. That relieves compaction and opens direct channels for water, air, nutrients, and new seed to reach the roots.

Overseeding is spreading new grass seed across the existing lawn. Done right after aeration, seed drops directly into the aeration holes for real soil contact — which is what actually drives germination.

Equipment advantage

Hydraulic downforce, not guesswork

We use professional aeration equipment with hydraulic downforce control, which lets us push the tines to a consistent depth into the soil. Basic walk-behind aerators rely only on machine weight, which often means shallow holes — especially in dry or compacted lawns. Deeper cores mean better results.

Seed blend

A premium blend built for southeastern PA

Our regional mix combines perennial ryegrass for fast germination and quick cover, Kentucky bluegrass for a dense, self-repairing turf that spreads over time, and fine and turf-type fescues for shade tolerance, drought resistance, and durability through PA winters. Zero weed seed in the bag — so you're not planting problems along with your lawn.
